Auto detailing is the process of thoroughly cleaning and restoring a vehicle's interior and/or exterior to its original condition or better. The areas of a vehicle that are normally passed over are given attention in this process. This includes areas like the inner barrels of the wheels, door jams,  inside the fuel door, under seats and the other ins and outs of a vehicle. 

People see the need for an exterior detail for many reasons. Some just like to keep their vehicle looking the best it possibly can, but there are some vehicles that could benefit from an exterior detail. These can only be removed using chemical and mechanical processes involved in a detail.

Interior detailing includes vacuuming, cleaning all surfaces, removing debris from hard to reach areas, removing dust and dirt from carpets, windows and adding protection. Carpet and upholstery extraction can be added as well.

The most common cause of these swirls are improper washing. Automatic car washes use brushes and fabric to clean that are continually picking up dirt and debris from other vehicles. Improper hand washing also causes these swirls. If you are not using a proper washing and drying technique, you could be installing these swirls without even knowing it.
